Serious nut jobs often seem juvenile. On the internet, of course, one doesn't have the benefit of seeing how old someone is.
Very true Michael!... very true!
But don't worry... it'll all be OK when Aslan returns to Narnia!👍

It is not what you that gets one in trouble, it is how you say it 😀
So my staying in good standing depends on the time of the month for the mod...got it.

Has anyone had any issues with “The Rolex Forum”, the specialist forum dedicated to...erm...well...Rolex 😉
I posted about wanting one myself and needing advice to be abruptly told by members “ please type your search in the search bar this thread has been posted millions of timesalready” ...not exactly helpful is it!?
Then I got banned 3 hours later because I mentioned that the Rolex Air King in my eyes was absolutely ghastly and not to my liking at all ( only an opinion right ?) and I was permanently removed from the site on terms of “abuse of Rolex” haha. So I guess this is my new favourite forum to discuss watches, I just hope I don’t get banned from here for having an opinion.....
Its the same when you are Liberal and the next moment you are deemed a nazi for asking a simple question

I think I will join and my first post will be ..Hi all Thank's for having me here..BTW ROLEX sucks!

Wasn't she banned here? 🍿

I always thought, by her tone, that ‘She’ was a ‘He’…& quite feasibly,… several people

Did anyone here actually take her seriously?

For the most part...no. But there were a fair number here who seemed quite smitten.

The ancient software over on TRF still supports Visitor Messages, which apparently some elderly and challenged people think are private. So anyway, there's still a Visitor Message on her profile page where some buffoon is flirting with her. Haha!

I mostly put it down to different cultures. Some of her threads and posts were serious and interesting, others plain "juvenile" or childish.
But hey, we 're all weird in the eyes of someone else.

I had just discovered this forum as part of a quest to get myself a nice speedy and this thread was an incredible introduction to the forum. Entertaining as hell and I think we'll get along just fine 😀

Blimey! I've just had a look over on the Rolex Forum for the first time!😕 They do seem just a little bit 'full of themselves'???😕 They seem to be taking life very seriously???😕
Have they not realised we are all just 'fakkin about'... spinning around the big shiney thing... on a rock in space???😲

And that is just the Rolex Subforum on OF!

Greetings. Longtime Rolex Forum member here. Came here because Meganfox17 said we were the butt of jokes in "other" forums, so I thought I would see what's being said. Funny to find out s/he's the butt of jokes in this thread.

A few months ago, someone signed up here, apparently, just seeking some info on finding a Flightmaster crystal. I happened to know the answer and responded without any issue. Someone else then responded to the thread strictly to chastise the OP for getting right to his question without more of an introduction and suggested that my responding to it was excessively nice. I responded, essentially, the exact same way as mayankyadav, suggesting that if anybody considered the OP's approach to be rude, one could simply exemplify politeness and the avoidance or rudeness by ignoring the thread altogether instead of chastising the OP for simply asking for the information he sought. The poster who had initially referred to me as being excessively nice then took great offense to my comment, seemed to take it as a personal insult or accusation of rudeness on his part, and then vowed never to help or provide any information to me in the future, in the event I ever needed it.

I just read this - hey, that was me!

My first response was meant as a genuine thumbs up for you guys' response (not "excessively nice") and it seems you thought it was meant as sarcasm? On the other hand, what I wrote afterwards was meant as sarcasm and you took that at face value. Ah, isn't communicating on message boards grand 😁

I promise you that if you ever need any assistance (and think that mine could be helpful) you are more than welcome to PM me 😀
