Been Gone For 2 Weeks...

What did I miss? Anything good?
I will say though, it was a nice 2 weeks.
My wife and I (well mostly her) had our second child so I too some time off work to be with them.
I also decided to take a (mostly) 2 week break from anything internet and social media.
It was magical.
What was once created as a tool to bring people together (I'm primarily talking about Facebook), has been pretty much weaponized, and has caused so much division. It is just an awful place to be.
I couldn't have picked a better time for a black out...election time.
But all good things must come to an end and now I'm back lol.
So yeah, what'd I miss?

Congrats on the new family member, good to take off time from the internet having time to enjoy it,.👍
Oprah came along with free watches for everybody so that was the biggest thing that happened.😗

Not that much, Space x took off again, trump lost (dont think he knows yet. Shhhh) the All Blacks got beat twice in a row, guy with the dirty hands and the Rolex got banned @Barking mad bought a nice red bezel Wittnauer.

Not much went on. A glut of 2915s and 2998s flooded the market and sold for pennies on the dollar, but really once we all scored 3 or 4 each it wasn't very noteworthy.

I thought I found a few good deals, then @janice&fred went and found a Hamilton Intramatic panda for like $7- totally blew the bell curve.

And you can't seem to settle on a new avatar apparently hah.
It always throws me off when people get new avatars. It is something I notice.

Yeppers...I tend to change my avatar fairly often...I just changed it at a Naval Aviation forum that I frequent...

Congratulations to you and your wife on your new bundle joy. There’s a lot more work involved but I’m sure it is better than buying a new watch. 😉
