I've worn mine for 3 weeks continuously, and a box full of Speedmaster's is not getting any wrist time.
I’ve had the same problem!

Same problem here too. Been wearing the new Seamaster every single day for a month now and I'm still in love!

I had a very hard time deciding between the grey and blue one. Finally I sticked with the classic blue.
I've ordered the rubber strap as well, but I'll probably have to wait until December until it arrives.

Great purchase!
I think we live in the same timezone if that pic is taken 15 min ago 😉

I have the blue one. I can't get over how incredible the bracelet is. It's built like a tank. It's nice on the blue strap, but the wrist presence of the watch when it's on the bracelet goes through the roof in my mind.

I took the plunge and bought the black dial on steel bracelet from the Leeds OB today. I phoned them yesterday to discover they had just that day taken delivery of one (yes one) of this reference. I asked them to put it aside for me and when I arrived, they had had two people phone after me, and a guy came in the shop while I was there looking for this particular reference; so glad I phoned ahead and got them to put it aside for me. The OB told me that they are only getting delivery of one of each reference at a time. When they sell it, they have to wait for the next delivery. So it seems they are still pretty scarce, at least in the provinces.

It’s early days, but I’m loving the watch. It’s 42mm x 13 mm but it nestles low on my wrist - my shirt cuff clears it with ease. The new lug and end-link design makes for an extremely comfortable wear. The micro adjustment enables a precise fit. The bezel has a really nice action and turns pretty easily. From an aesthetic perspective, it absolutely pops; it’s beautiful, at least to me. The precision engineering of the case, the dial, the bracelet, the clasp is amazing for the price. Looking forward to a long relationship with this fantastic watch.

I really like the Leeds OB, had a few from there and always found them to be really helpful with service/parts. Last time I wandered past I spotted the blue sedna on rubber in the window and nearly bought it. Looked lovely. I still might get the sedna and steel version if the shop next door can't come up trumps on my waiting list item in the next 6 months (I think you know which shop I'm on about here)!

I’d cancel the order on the Sub and buy the technologically more advanced and stylish watch from next door

Believe me I've been on the verge of that for a while - but I've waited so long now I don't know if I'm just being stubborn. I'm kind of thinking I could sell my PO for the SMP and have both. I love that Master Chronometer movement.

@steelfish Between the PO and the new SMP.... The SMP was the winner for me.
Overall the SMP felt more refined. Also the red on black accents look awesome. The PO is MUCH thicker...

Fantastic pics, thanks. For what it's worth, I actually prefer the new shaped He valve also. Certainly food for thought.

Been wearing the new SMP every day for about 8 weeks. Very, very happy with it in every respect.

That is quite an amazing feat. I don't have that many watches yet none have I worn for 8 consecutive weeks

I have a SubC and think it is a truly brilliant watch, including the quality of the bracelet and Glidelock, but the more I see of this SMP the more I like it. Except the ridiculous HEV design.

Still, tempting... Wouldn't dump the SubC Date for it ever since it doesn't feel like an upgrade in any way, but they'd be a nice duo. I do like that Omega is using ZrO2 wisely, making dials out of it makes sense, given the better UV fade/corrosion resistant. They will definitely not age the same way as older watches.

New arrival! . . . Santa came early. I saw the blue on s rubber strap at the OB in Berlin. The rubber strap just didn’t do it for me. But, today at my local AD, they had a blue on the bracelet;

This was bad for my bank account! I said, ‘Let’s size the bracelet!’

This was not planned. Although I have been ‘looking’ at the various photos on OmegaForums, I was looking forward to seeing it in person. But, with the bracelet, she had me at ‘Hello.’
