Introduced in 1993, the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2018. Therefore, Omega will be introducing an updated version this BaselWorld 2018. The Seamaster Diver 300M, introduced as the 2531.80 for the automatic version and as 2541.80 for the quartz model (both models featured in the Pierce Brosnan James Bond movies), came […]

Took a close look at my AD on the grey vs. black vs. blue dial. The blue looks great in strong outdoor lighting (has a beautiful hue) but looks like a toy under show room yellow lighting. Size and pricing point are both excellent but I just can not get over how cheap it feels with the bezel click - my personal thought.

I had a very hard time deciding between the grey and blue one. Finally I sticked with the classic blue.
I've ordered the rubber strap as well, but I'll probably have to wait until December until it arrives.
I am elated at today’s pickup - classic blue dial. The shift in the date window to 6pm is perfect because at a quick glance you have all the symmetry of a no-date dial but the usefulness of a date is still there. The build quality is supreme. I used to have a 2220.80, and that was a great watch, but the changes since then to the movement and bezel and dial are cumulative, and add up to a qualitatively different watch. The ceramic dial color shifts in partly cloudy outdoor light in the coolest way - like a cerachrom bezel on a Sub. Omega delivers an incredible amount of watch for your money with this one. At a time when steel Rolex sports models are substantially unavailable from ADs, this is a moment when Omega can gain a huge advantage: a technically superior product, one that’s actually available, and for a much better price. Very, very well done!!

This. This is one of the coolest moments owning this new blue model. When it happens you'll know and man, it looks beautiful.

Justed wanted to bump this with mine. Originally sold 10/14/18, I purchased it used last week and can't take it off.

Nice! How much are they going for on the secondary market at this point?

I was able to get it for $3900. This is from a reputable seller.

What bugged me is when I was ready to purchase one, Omega shot the price up to $5200.
