Welcome. Since you're a student, you're no stranger to educating yourself. Start here https://omegaforums.net/threads/learn-how-to-fish.52603/
I like the watch but of course it all comes down to price. If you're a poor student you better look for a good deal. How much is this watch?
I believe it's a 2846?
It looks to me like it's rose gold capped and the (wrong) crown is in yellow gold. Short (broken?) seconds hand too.
€125-150 just to fix those problems.
N NikosPIs that the price to get the right crown and new second hands too? Are they even still available? And im guessing the price doesnt include the labour of the watchmaker too, right?
Hi I suggest you do your watch shopping here on our sales section. Better chance of getting a nice vintage watch that's authentic.
It's the price for an experienced collector to complete the project with no labor costs. It could cost quite a bit more for you, and take a lot of time and trial and error. I'm not sure that's something you want to do for your first watch, unless the watch is dirt cheap. And based on the fact it's listed on C24, I'm guessing it's more likely overpriced instead of cheap.
If you really want a solid vintage Omega check the sales section later tonight as we will be listing our 50's Turler fully serviced and cheaper than you will be able to shape up that watch you posted!
