Usually I wear my watches. Buying it unseen I was surprised about the condition when I got it. "Sadly" it has springbars which can't be removed without breaking them (not fixed but they are tightly set) and the strap is old (but original) so either I destroy the strap to be able to wear it or leave it be and just keep it in the watch box...

Place a touch of this in the strap along the spring bar and give it a go in 10 minutes. Warmer the oil is the better.

Has worked a treat on many stuck Spring bar for me. Less than $10 at a tackle shop and great for door squeaks ( or anything the Misses hears squeaking )

And did you see my dibs 😗

Squirrel bait.

Wow, yes! You may need to watch your ankles for the Squirrel, that’s really beautiful!

Does it have an in-house movement? What’s the size?

I think I need to Dibs 🥰 that before a rodent comes along!

Thanks D! 36.5mm case housing a cal 1.96 micro rotor movement that launched Chopard LUC as a manufacture in 1996. The finishing's not too bad!

Very nice.

My very first moonphase was an 18k Chopard that I bought right after finishing grad school, around 1991. Soon after that, my best friend moved to Switzerland to work as a designer for them.

Unfortunately, in 2001, the watch was stolen from my hotel room... I didn't buy another dress watch for about 13 years!

Awesome!

Congrats! Was watching that one from the start. The dial is really hard to capture in a picture but looks great in real life. Here's my PG capped:
