By sheer coincidence, I finally found one of these, so I will consider it a gift to myself, that should arrive exactly on my 60th birthday... and yes, I'm a '58 as well 😜...

Absolutely amazing! Do you plan to wear it or store it away? As stunning as that is I don't think I could wear it, rarely does NOS really mean NOS .

Just came today from a US collector and connoisseur of these pieces. The rare WW-5100C-1 from November 1983. Second G-Shock ever produced. Total number rumored to be around 5.000.

Usually I wear my watches. Buying it unseen I was surprised about the condition when I got it. "Sadly" it has springbars which can't be removed without breaking them (not fixed but they are tightly set) and the strap is old (but original) so either I destroy the strap to be able to wear it or leave it be and just keep it in the watch box...

Last two weeks got me a 166009, a iwc 8531 and I pre ordered the baltic blue gilt! Soon two new arrivals: a original black dial seamaster (I hope) and a SMDV. Will post pictures of them...

Now that is one nightmare dilemma, enough to keep me awake at night. I think I would be tempted to send it to somebody trustworthy like Simon Freese to see if he could work his magic and carefully remove it.

It would certainly be a crime to destroy that original strap.

Just got this Connie, and it is just the way I like to find them - sharp case, great dial and just the right amount of greece... 😀 Not likely tuched by a dealer and not fixed up before sale....

This is the connie I like the most, with dog legs and onyx inlay. This seems to be all original and actually has the original low profile crystal (but unfortunately cracked 🙁 - can I find one?)

After some cleaning up it looks Lovely imho, but need a service and new crystal.
Crazy stuff..
A friend helped me to get a NOS original low profile crystal to the Connie 😀 Expensive but worth it. Hope to get it swaped soon. The dial is just amazing and will pop with a nice crystal.

Also, these three Tissots just landed, and costed just above 2* the crystal... 😀

Just returned from the EU, where this fellow was waiting for me.
Happy with it, although I most probably paid too much (here on the OF. Seller stated 'serviced in 2016, so there is no room to haggle', but he is still not able to provide with receipt....😡)

Well, I will enjoy it nonetheless!!

😜😁😁
