Just got this yesterday has a great dial.
Montine Inflight, circa 1970 give or take. These were very popular and they shifted 1/2 a million units a year, first one I have seen.

This may be it’s inflight predecessor… Montine of Switzerland (circa 1960’s) 17 Jewels - Incabloc - rescued from a drawer of a old sewing cabinet at an antique shop.

The bugs that Apple introduced (and have still not fixed) in watchOS 26 finally drove me away from my Apple Watch Ultra. The Workout app has simply become unusable. Thus the newest watch in my collection. I had been following the discussions and complaints on the TAG Heuer forums, so my expectations for the new TAG Heuer OS software were pretty low, but so far I've found the watch to be more than acceptable as a replacement. It's been my daily wear for a couple of weeks, but once the novelty ends, I expect it to take over the Ultra's role in my routine: mostly just used for workouts and for travel.

This looks super cool. I'm not generally fan of watches with software but this is sharp.

New Balance and Tag collaboration?

Do you ever do that thing where you sell some watches and then, magically, others appear because 1) they popped up at auction cheap; and 2) you had $ in the watch fund?

The dangers of a saved eBay search that is "auctions, sorted by ending soonest, filtered to my local jurisdiction":
Vintage 70s(?) Ricoh World Timer that I picked up in what looks to be NoS condition (just needed a polish and 40 year old caseback sticker removed).

World map with Tokyo at 12 o'clock and a moveable inner bezel for the world time function. No actual independent GMT hand or "following" 24hr hand and moveable city bezel (like a Seiko world timer).

Part 2 from this week of you ever do that thing where you sell some watches and then, magically, others appear because 1) they popped up at auction cheap; and 2) you had $ in the watch fund?

1968 Bulova Oceanographer "D" (the dressy one). Picked it up from an estate type downsizing thing (with some friends), not realizing that the bezel is 10k (minor win!). Leave it to late 60s Bulova to put a 10k bezel and nice Swiss movement inside a freakin base metal case...
