Had to see if I liked a gold watch enough to save up for a real one.

Gold, generally, looks odd to me. I would probably buy white gold or platinum if I wanted a precious metal as I like the silver colors. In lieu of that, stainless steel is adequate. I do have a very small gold watch that I try to get my wife to wear.

Seamaster technic dial. I had one of these years ago, sold it, then almost instantly regretted it. It’s taken me 8 years of on and off searching but I finally found another one.

Off to the spa it goes.

Bought this the other day, not arrived yet so seller pics.
Very interesting and somewhat hard to find ROCKSHELL MARK VI, this particular dial I have never seen before, also the caseback marking are somewhat unusual in that Roamer would have normally assigned their own movement nomenclature to the Ref not the the ETA movement number so I am picking this is a somewhat later movement than earlier runs.

Circa 1975 ish Ref: MOD 2789-5120.614

Not an Omega but this Heuer 2446 is my latest addition. Amazing dial, great size an and an even more iconic movement

Purchased 4 days ago. Waltham CPR model, 18-size, 17-jewels, lever set, gold chatons on the jewels, 8 adjustments. Serviced the day I bought it. Very accurate.

It was 80% trying to get one with the oval O and 20% luck to be able to finance this bonus 😎
