Arrived yesterday. Was even in better condition than I thought. The crystal had its scratches that I polished away, the case had just a tiny little dirt and hairlines on it that also was polished away.
Why did I buy this? Because I had the correct NOS bracelet laying around.

Just perfect.

I’ve been looking out for a blue dial 36-38 diameter beater but didn’t want to spend £300+ on the Citizen, Seiko or Bulova because I appreciate that it’s a current fad for me and, as I was on holiday, that I was basically looking for a beach watch.

This came along for £60 and although I’m slightly suspicious about it’s origins, both the dial number 7009-876L R appear, both on the dial and the caseback, and it works fine ..

However the algorithms had kicked in and this Rotary diver (100m and screw down crown £35) appeared and so ….

Small lot I picked up locally yesterday.

Looks like you shop at all the right places!

It was a private owner who had inherited an eclectic collection. Sometimes it actually works out.

Two arrivals this week:

Sharp & honest Peter Blake courtesy of the good fellow member from Yorkshire @Davidt. Bracelet needs an additional link so have it on an old Nato at the moment. Forgotten how comfy it is:

And a rather delicate and also insanely comfortable 1962 7205 rivet bracelet to compliment my Tudor 7934. Had almost given up on it after over a week delivery. Reported not delivered to ebay and received a refund. Then what do you know it turns up after another week. Bonza.

Going for the burgundy dials on gold dublees lately. I think they’re pretty porno.

The Zenith is so deep red it needs to be shown in better lighting.

Purchased 4 days ago. Waltham CPR model, 18-size, 17-jewels, lever set, gold chatons on the jewels, 8 adjustments. Serviced the day I bought it. Very accurate.
Wonderful!
