Recently acquired this from a member. I love it. Even though a vintage and dials probably a 33 or 34, keeping with the times; the square case makes the watch more chunky . Added to that, it takes a 24mm strap making it quite a substantial presence in the wrist. As I am just evolving to the vintage sizes, I find my self always reaching for this beauty in preference to my big modern watches as well as the few smaller vintages. Maybe it’s just the honey moon phase. And on the plus side wifey is warming up to my purchases as well especially the vintage sizes. She wears my gold omega geneve all too often nowadays. (Almost always when she dresses up formally.) But last I checked she still thinks 2 is too many for one person😁

Occasionally it happens, you see a very pleasing well built women's watch with the right colours and proportions.
Whilst not a large watch it isn't tiny by women's watch standards and it size and symmetry with the dark chocolate brown linin dial looks extraordinary.
It's only plated with a dedicated plated strap which has stood up remarkably well for it's approx 60 year lifetime, this is obviously a watch that was a well cared for dress timepiece, loved and worn for those special occasions.
Running condition though either magnetised or just very low amplitude as it running a good hour fast after 12 hours running.
I feel my $3.50 has been well rewarded.
I really like this, it might even get serviced and worn by either wife or our growing 7 year old in the future, looks much nicer than the many women's Omegas and other top/ mid brand I have collected and serviced. Chuffed is an appropriate word for this purchase.

Haven't done any cleaning of it or titivateing of the lens or case yet.

Howdy, new here! From a recent trip to Japan:

Welcome! Do you have any better pictures of that black pie pan? I’d bet I’m not the only one who’s interested in seeing it in more detail.

Nice dial and case on that one.

I could be wrong, but I believe the correct bracelet for this reference is a 7-row beads-of-rice, with flat end links that will be more flush with the case. And plenty of other other nice references to pair with your 5-row bracelet.

Hah agreed, it came with the 5-row and I have a 7-row but cannot for the LIFE of me get this one off. I've checked to see if the springbars have tabs, they do not look like they have shoulders...I've given up for the moment.

Then people wonder why it's tough to find a nice example unless you pay dealer prices...

The sad thing is, I wouldn't say no to another.
