Looks not to bad, are you sure it's not just the lens letting the dial appearance down?

Matt black dials can be tricky especially in harsh lighting, from your image it looks like possibly some fading in the upper segment.
I bought a similar looking watch 2 weeks ago and what I thought was dial damage was actually a discoloration of the lens on the dial side between 10 and 12 or X and XII.

Nope it's the dial. My guess is someone who didn't know what they were doing tried to clean it.

Adding this one here, too, even though it was more a trade than a purchase:

I didn’t buy, but rather my father-in-law dumped on me after decades of collecting:

I've always imagined that @noelekal's 'home for wayward watches' may, at some stage have looked a bit like this 😉

(Edit: although I’m sure that his watches are classy 😀)

You can’t beat a bit of natural wear!

I have been swerving vintage Tudor in the past but this is certainly make me reconsider.

The Oyster case is a total joy to wear and is even better when paired with a folded link oyster bracelet. In this case it's got the Tudor 9315. Perfection! This is my second 80's Tudor Sub.

Picked this up last night through my local OfferUp. Cheapie quartz but I really like the dial. I need to source an extra link though. Still looking for the right Omega or other quality watch with a similar style.

More cheapo vintage Seiko goodness. I mostly bought this one for the bracelet (which actually fits!!), but I think I like the patina more than I expected. The eBay photos were pretty rough, but the dial looks pretty ok.

A good looking 35mm Longines from 47 with fancy lugs

Oh that’s nice. Let me know if you don’t bond with it!

Picked this up Wednesday second hand. Eyed this up since its release and finally did it. This is a great watch and will be my daily wearer when I’m not going vintage.

It just came back from the spa, new glass and bonklip 😀
Actually, I measured it again and it 34mm not 35mm. But with those fancy lugs, it has a nice wrist presence.

Recently aquired this Libana with a Valjoux 23.
It has a patinated dial in creme colour and measures around 35mm. Love the big pushers and fat crown.

It's very hard to find something about the brand Libana and then especially about the model Superior.

According to Mikrolisk Libana was registered in 1937:

Libana SA / Liban Watch SA / Siegmund Liebmann Uhren, Uhrwerke; Biel, Schweiz; registriert am 15.4.1937

https://www.mikrolisk.de/show.php?site=280&suchwort=Libana&searchMode=exact&searchWhere=all

Reference for this model as written on the back is "59 1069".
Also I haven't found anything on the references for Libana.
Assuming the watch is from the early period of Libana - estimate 40s.

Dial is original to the watch (plenty NOS dials can be found on Ebay) and might be with radium lume on the hands and also on the dial.

A pretty nice 105.012-65 just landed.
Bezel is the rare DON sub-variant, the DO80 (Dent Over 80 lol) but other than that it’s pretty clean with fat pushers, flat foot crown etc.
