Simple watch design with superb movement and a perfect sized case, can't ask for much more than that in a dress watch.
Ha! Really both of you guys in San Diego couldn't turn it down? Beautiful piece mate well bloody done!
Thanks dsio, we tried to get a "2 for 1" deal, but they were having none of it. I really did try to find reasons to turn it down and just couldn't come up with any (well, other than the 12,000 really small reasons).
Another one. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/291333328385?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
However, when I got it home and turned it over.................... It was a sudden jolt back in time. From one vet to another.
Nice catch Jim. Very good price and no shortage of accessories. Is it 8mm or 6mm? That should clean up nicely.
Welcome to the OF BRN27-great way to make an entrance, complete with appropriate avatar (Dennis will be pleased!). Love the rocket accessory-where did you source that guy??
It's a nice 8mm (was told it was 6 before I picked it up) The small box full of junk is actually the original box for the 8mm lathe It should clean up nicely. And even though the headstock was 8mm, this box is all 6mm!!! More bits for my 6mm Lorch Now to get sorting and restoring.......
First time owning Zenith(s). The plurality was because Stewart thought it was a better idea to own two than one, so bot both a couple of days ago...
I concur about buying things two at a time. Just did this: There's something I can't resist about crummy photos from Spain.
I think the cases, dials and furniture will be sharp. The innards will be a grab bag... I don't think I would have made the same purchase, movements unseen, if these were coming from a more tropical climate.
He who dares not, wins not My "best" purchases have been on crappie pictures and no movement shots. Cheers!
