This ref 2640 just arrived, nice size at 35.5mm diameter. It's basically the center-second version of the 2639. The highlight is the no-lume dial with contrasting outer ring and alternating gilt numerals and applied markers. I wasn't really able to capture the gilt numerals in the photos. The final photo is a pairing with my black-dial 2639.

Greetings OF. I'm new here, having recently figured out I love reading about and researching watches. At any rate, I picked this up and it's my daily driver!

My son is finally getting into watches. Bought himself a "Orrus" off etsy for 8 quid without telling me. Horrendous piece of crap. So, after a mild scolding, I helped him buy this lovely little Seiko from Ebay for about 50 quid. Heck of a lot of value I think. Comes with extra links and has a see through caseback so he can hopefully get excited about mechanical movements. He's delighted.

This just arrived from @tyrantlizardrex. Well packaged and in STUNNING shape. Thank you Chris!! It's off to the watchmaker later today. Sent to Canada from jolly ol' England via Royal Mail and delivered by Canada Post with no customs or brokerage fees owing. That's always nice!

Thrilled to hear it made it, that the customs folks were generous, and that you’re happy Dave!

Bought this for my missus before Xmas.
On the 22nd of December I got scammed by a bogus virgin media caller.
Long story short, I got my money back but had to have my phone wiped and lost all my passwords.
I couldn't get back on the Omega site so had to become Turpinrr rather than the original Turpinr which I hope is OK.
Anyway the watch was bought because I love moonphase watches and the deal was good though I wouldn't use Jura/Sellors again.
The watch came without the warranty card and I had to get Longines help.
Sorry for the long winded post 👎

We'd only just moved house on the 6th and had, had virgin round so that's why I fell for the scam although part way through it was obvious.
I've just found out one of my old mates got scammed out of £100 3 months ago.

I would guess @dsio could probably help you recover your original name. Assuming you still have access to your registered email. You may need to recover that separately first.

When I turned my mobile back on after factory reset there were thousands of emails dating back to 2013, it'll probably have been in them.
Thanks 👍

A Seiko "Soccer Timer" with the 8M32 "Dancing Hands" movement!

I swear, I'll be something classy again one day. Until then, it's more oddball quartz Seikos for me.
