I know I know that strap has got to go, seller not so clear pics, bought at auction yesterday.

The case looks mint topside but those photos it's probably 3 parts imagination and 1 part reality 😁.

Comes with the very good 520 movement which is great as the later movements they cheapened out a little probably to compete with the Quartz competition.

A few months ago this one. The movement is by Buser (Swiss) and I got it for the material value of the case because it was a non-runner. After receiving I discovered a broken pinion of the escape wheel. and found a NOS escape wheel for less than what the postage from Italy was. Now running, but still needing a full service for regaining an amplitude >280° (the goal).

Second Snoopy is here. Seems to run. Too bad this watch does not go with Victorian costume. Might go with ice skates. One would think there is a skating Snoopy out there somewhere. I know where Snoopy's skating rink is ...

Next up is the Lucy one. I have also seen Linus watches as well. Must use restraint. Should simply save up for another broken Heuer, but the impulse, oh the impulse to add another watch that fits into the collection...

I had to buy this one for its lume and condition. Judging by the crown, it didn't get much use.
The only damage is on the crystal, so that needs replacing. I would love to make a photo without the crystal, but radium... 😀

Lucy came yesterday. Quite small, just fits my wrist. About 10Lignes. Not really much time to do anything with it other than to see what movement it has (timex :sad😀 does not run more than 5 seconds. Something wrong with the stem, winding it pops into setting mode. I do not think I will attempt to clean it. Getting everything including the balance to align upside down is an exercise in frustration.

Had to watch Charlie Brown Christmas last night. Does put one in the mood.

Hard to believe Schultz would be 100.

Now back to the work at hand ...

Oh no. 1.36 LBs of junk quartz chronographs just arrived from Goodwill. And I have not made it yet to breakfast as it is now lunch time.

The reward after another crazy year! My latest addition the (newer version [you can tell by the horizontal bar thickness on the bracelet where it meets the lugs]) Omega Seamaster 300M Diver 007 edition from No Time to Die.

Have this one incoming/ First big purchase in a long while. Lord, I hope it checks out...seller was forthright and it came with authenticity guarantee, but you never know.

First execution (MK1) Favre Leuba Deep Blue circa 1963 w/original bracelet. Will update with my photos when it lands.

This arrived yesterday. I had to get it out of my system, since I have always liked this model a lot and spent considerable time to get one about a year ago with a bipolar seller, who changed his mind every few days, just to be told after weeks of back and forth, that he had sold it to someone else.
Now I have peace of mind, can put it in a box and move on. 😵‍💫😉

I'm not sure what came over me, since I don't usually like damaged dials, but this appealed to me. Do you think it's a 2846? @kyle L?
