I found this one in an antique shop recently and it was cheap enough to take a gamble. Normally, I would label it fake based on the hands and appearance of the dial, but the lume burn is puzzling me. Also, we took it apart in the shop and the dial was quite patinated from the back and all seemed to fit well and was consistent. The movement is correct
Other than that, I've never seen this Kirova script. Does anyone have an educated opinion on this?

Today's stop at a thrift store. The Seiko needs some work, all others only need some good cleaning. To me, the Ricoh is the best catch of the bunch, but the POLJOT with linen dial is a rare find as well. The TITAN should work as a doner for another seagull I have lying around. They threw in the Union SA as a bonus for free.

Thanks for posting this. The production facility logo is more in line with what is common on yours. These Russian watches are a minefield though and the print on yours is even below soviet quality standards, if I should take a vote. 😀

Mine is probably from around the early to late 50's made with no care for a commercialised commodity product that the Russian watch industry seemed to have evolved into with its endless production of military style watches with no real military connection.

Just back from a full service, new original crown and glass on this new to me watch.

Rare Roamer 44 MST436, dateless but not desperate.

This was shared in the bargain eBay thread and at the listed BIN price, I did not have to think twice. It was an absolute deal for its condition.

edit to add a wrist shot because I found a 18mm strap in my stash.

I just had to buy this one for the dial. The lume issue on the hands should be a case for a coffee-fix. Movement is a Jeambrun 26D.

Just arrived in this morning.

Enicar Ocean Pearl 27 Jewel, in running order but seems to be missing a second hand, needs a service!

Complete with original vintage strap, looking at recent Enicar strap auctions I can get 5 or 6 times what I paid for the complete package just by selling the strap alone, we live in a strange world.

**EDIT** Opened it up and was surprised to see a high grade micrometer adjustable 27 Jewel movement

This was delivered yesterday. I regretted selling my black, black bay 58 so this is a welcome addition. Love the blue too

Looks great - I’ve just made an offer on a Tudor GMT. Cheers!

This is from 1967 and you can find it by searching it’s nickname Bulova “Devil Diver” given the 666 on the dial, which is the depth rating.
