Just successfully bid for (another) 8213 cal 505 (with Longines extract) so hoping it runs as good as it looks.

(Seller’s photo - the date is coincidental)

I've been waiting for those Moon Swatches to become available at the Times Square Swatch store again, because my wife likes colored toy-type watches in colors that match her clothes and she doesn't have a chronograph; but $279 retail is already bad enough and I wouldn't even consider paying hundreds more for one on eBay. I stumbled onto a listing for "Sterile Dial Moon Swatch" for $100 and figured I'd see what showed up. It took about a month; but it finally arrived from China last week. It has all the Omega/Swatch logos and other markings; but the hour subdial is a non-functioning dummy dial, the chrono stops after 60 minutes, and there's no lume at all. So, I contacted the seller and told him that I have more of a problem with the fact that the hour subdial doesn't work than with the obvious counterfeiting, but that if he wanted to refund 50%, I'd keep it instead of filing an INAD dispute and let eBay decide what to do about the counterfeiting issue. So they issued a 50% refund and my wife thinks it's cute that she now has a Speedmaster, too. Her collection now consists of about a dozen $2 rubber/silicone colored watches, 2 Omega Ladies' Dynamics, 2 Wenger Quartz watches with diver-type bezels, and this cute POS.

Not sure if I had introduced the new arrival to the Tissot family... It came last month, apologies if I did already... But in any case, here is the child:

Bought this at auction yesterday, haven't received it yet but looks a straight forward project with just a service, glass and a new correct crown.

Got quite a few Eterna's in the collection now.

Seller pics

Crown looks ok to me. Those hidden crowns were generally not signed.

Yes the crown looks to be the correct shape and you maybe right that they didn't always have the 5 dots but I know that some of the identical watches have the appropriate dots indeed the same seller was selling the identical watch except for badged Centenaire 61 but missing the outer chapter ring with a beautiful Eterna badged crown, I was sorely tempted to buy that one as well but knowing the difficulty of finding the correct chapter ring I opted out of it and it sold for nearly twice the price 😕

Due to it unavailability and ridiculous current asking price a few weeks ago I also opted for a cheaper alternative costing about US$30.00 2nd hand.

I am amazed at it's apparent accuracy at the price point ( and all its subdials work perfectly).

Bought this yesterday and picked it up today.
A Titoni Titoflex Airmaster manual wind in very good honest looking condition but needs a new glass and a service.

Just back from service and lens change.

Much better now.

This is how it performed before the service.

Here are my two latest arrivals, first up a Bond watch from the early 70s (missing bakelite bezel, wrong crown, off to the spa soon)

Next is a nice little Ana-digi, probably from the early 80s - found in a tin of junk watches and resurrected with a new battery.

Fresh out from the package.
Will benefit from some polywatch and a tender service. My apology for the poor photo quality
