Wanted something new and different, may not be the best of brands but I haven't got one of these so why not. (I know you will tell me why)

A new to myself Tudor Reference 7928 with Mark 7 dial!

My love affair with Tudor has literally gone back in time in the following order where one gets moved on for the next:

Tudor Black Bay Noir 79220N

Tudor Black Bay 58

Tudor reference 76100

And now this beautiful 7928!

When you have been married as long as I have you can sense when something is not sitting well with your partner, this evening the love of my life confessed that she had purchased a watch for my Christmas and was afraid it may not arrive in time for the day.
Despite my best efforts to convince her it did not matter she produced an image of what will arrive at some point in the future 😀

Oh happy days 😁

My first travel time watch, and first Rolex with a cyclops. The wait was about 6-months. Would I love to see Rolex de-maxi a future version? Yes I would. But I’m still kind of spazzing out that I landed this.

Quite honored that my awesome AD chose me for this allocation!

Picked this up off the bay last week. Just delivered this morning. Thanks to @dsio for pointing it out.

Still trying to work out setting it. 😁

Waiting for pink/salmon Seachero and grey linen Seamaster to arrive 😀

They both look great, but those after market bracelets are a turnoff. You have to post pictures when after they arrive.

Finally arrived, and I'm thrilled with the blue in person. No wonder the BB58 gets such rave reviews... it's a svelte diver, not flashy, and versatile. I can't wait to swap that blue suede strap over to it.

It doesn't say chronometre on the dial, only the movement. I was hoping to get this watch and it's on its way. Still: I'm not ofay with these kind of watches. Hope it's not a Franken. So... After having wound it slightly and it keeping good time it stopped. 11 minutes later it started again and it's still ticking to my surprise after having wound it so little.its keeping time luckily I don't think I've ruined it or anything. It has a large blemish on the case but that won't stop me from enjoying this watch
Very nice find! Dibs if you tire of it 👍
