It doesn't say chronometre on the dial, only the movement. I was hoping to get this watch and it's on its way. Still: I'm not ofay with these kind of watches. Hope it's not a Franken. So... After having wound it slightly and it keeping good time it stopped. 11 minutes later it started again and it's still ticking to my surprise after having wound it so little.its keeping time luckily I don't think I've ruined it or anything. It has a large blemish on the case but that won't stop me from enjoying this watch
I'll miss those beveled numerals. Maybe I buy it back once you've had it serviced 😁.
Yes Mr LesXL, can you divulge where you get your watches serviced? Much obliged. Maybe I could try him out sometime. Thanks in advance edit: maybe it's a she, that would be cool too
Last year I got my dad a 6651 he complained about the strap being too small so this year I got him a Tissot 1481. He claims he's thinned down and the Longines is fine. So I just got this watch for nothing other then the fact I feel the need for him to own the Tissot since he wore a quartz seastar for 37 years and I PITY THE FOOL
I suspect it's gauche to talk prices, but can I get some validation that picking this up (with it's original 1170/618 bracelet) for under us$1000 was a good deal? Currently at my watchmaker getting the crystal gouges buffed out...
