The second Speedmaster of the new year. Been wearing it a few days now, so still in the honeymoon period, but impressed so far. Having owned the vintage version I can say it is true to form. Fit and finish is excellent. In these early days, the clasp is my only nit to pick - I do like it but.... would have been so easy to add one or two more adjustment positions - plenty of room to do so with no other change in design. Adding/subtracting links on newer Omega bracelets with the two-screws-and-a-pin is a real pita, at least for me. OK enough, need a lot more wrist time for further evaluation. 馃槖

Yeah, I don鈥檛 get why they didn鈥檛 provide more adjustment holes- it鈥檚 a no-brainer 馃

Waffle bumper

Good thing you didn't waffle on the purchase - that's a beauty! 馃憤

Super excited about this new acquisition. A no-lume 14710 Seamaster with original bracelet and "perfect" condition. To me the condition is "perfect" in the sense that it has very little wear, but it not so pristine I am afraid to wear it. Original NOS crown is in the mail from @new_heuer, and then it is off to the watchmaker.

I love this reference. Looks to be in great honest condition. I would very much like to own one of these myself in the future. Congrats馃憤

it's definitely better than I thought it would be. Better in the sun than indoors.

I was using before speedy 005 but the chemistry between me and the watch was zero.

I had a opportunity to buy this lovely watch from another watch enthusiast last week and I really love it.

I woke up this morning thinking about a watch that has been on my repair "to do" list for a year or more, a circa early-1970s Fortis "Stratoliner 20". The watch had been totally out of sight and mind for months having failed in my search for the needed part. While still in bed this morning, I grabbed my laptop and did a search for a donor movement (AS1882/83), and found an operating one for $24. It should arrive in time to give it and my watch to my WM next week.

Picked up this nice looking Omega Gen茅ve the other day. I can not claim that I bought it because of the watch alone馃槜
