Update on the above post, obviously got bored of travelling the globe and now in the UK 👍

But what will UK customs come away with 🙁

A brand new, never worn, still with the original protective case back sticker, leather strap and plastic envelope it was shipped in, Longines Ultronic. Fitted it with a battery and for the first time since ~1972 it ran instantly.
Might be a while before I put it on my wrist as well

Follow up to previous posts the said watch appears to be heading northwards and perhaps premature no mention of customs charges 🤔

Dragged up an image from the vendor, I did say it wasn't a rare or expensive piece but actually a tidy issued piece.

I'm going on the older path nowadays... a nice little one 😀 just pop up today :
a so called sei tacche, 1945... L10 inside.

It is 32mm and I'm actually positively surprised on how it wears on my 17.5mm wrist. I'm going to enlarge my options of search... 🤦

Two more on the way, A 35mm steel UG bumper from the 50s and a 37mm 18kt gold 262 from the 40s. There’s also a 3rd watch being delivered today will post later on arrival.

New to the forum but have been an onlooker for a while now. Interesting to see how different people’s style and tastes are etc. Anyhow, I managed to pick up 2x watches on the same day..

Put an online order for a speedy pro.. couldn’t wait for the lockdown to ease so I pulled the trigger. The next morning I got the call for my Rolex sub ND.. delivery of the speedy and Covid pick up of the sub happened on the same day. You couldn’t write it! Couldn’t say no after waiting a couple years. Both beautiful timepieces.

Newly arrived Christopher Ward C60 Trident GMT. Black bezel with blue dial on two different straps and a lume shot. A lot of watch for the price. Very pleased with this purchase thus far.
