Never heard of the Peter Blake association, but a bit of research (sounds studious but 1 minute on the internet these days gets you what you want) and I'm with it. A sad story and he certainly fitted Omega's brand association. I would say more so than a 'Ray Donovan' !? https://www.jckonline.com/magazine-article/omega-mourns-peter-blake/
Took a risk on this one, no pic of movement and no reference mentioned plus crown missing.....but I like the look and have any idea what it is. Will find out in a few weeks.
Got this today and it was in much better condition than I expected. Beautiful watch. Just need to resize the bracelet. FOIS next.
This one was on a local auction described as a battery driven watch Omega Genéve ref. 136.0049, cal. 613 sold in 1974
Sounds like there is a great story here. To keep this thread on target and give your watch and story a proper airing, maybe start a new thread. I’m looking forward to it.
Vintage Lemania chrono with yachting timer dial just arrived - bought here from @eugeneandresson and is the anticipated stunner... Sent as head with two options to tie it down on my wrist - I think the NSA bracelet is a no-brainer, but any other views??
69 with some issues. I love step dials and this was cheaper than the later offerings. Plus the case back is so much comfier than my 3570.50
When I was researching this reference I came across the following (note: different dial layout, likely a cal 5100) old sales add with what I speculate is a Lemania signed bracelet. I realize there is zero chance of finding such a bracelet...which imho looks fantastic. That NSA is the closest I could find...I wore it on a fine mesh which also was pretty good
