or you can read it through the frost..it may only be 40mm...but the dial is huge and because of it it wears bigger
Granted myself Citizenship for the first time, my first local watch. At $80, looks bitchin on an old-fashioned alligator strap. The stamp on the back says it was issued in 1968 to the old Japanese National Railway, Tokyo division, though who knows—these Citizen Homer railroad watches might be the equivalent of the Zippo lighters sold as genuine Vietnam War relics all over Asia. But very handsome in an all-business, just-the-facts way. Numbers and hands jump out with impressive legibility, while the branding verbiage retires modestly to the background. I really like it.
This hunk of 70s goodness, is an Omega Constellation F300hz, reference 198.002 - Freshly landed all the way from 1973, via a lovely chap called Michael in Germany. In the days of Disco, this was an expensive piece of Horology (£98.50) - more pricey than a Moonwatch (£92.50). Now you can pick one of these up for considerably less than a DNN Speedmaster bezel. How times and trends change!
I too picked up the Casio DW5600NASA. I'm not sure any G-Shocks have actually flown in space, although 7 models are officially NASA-qualified for space flight.
This seamaster 166.010 was much nicer than I'd expected! Bought from a good watch friend for a killer price and it's serviced too . I will definitely enjoy it for some time now that I've got the bracelet sized.
My first GP! It arrived this morning, between 2 home-office meetings ^^ Next step: buy a nice navy strap
Wasn’t going to buy anything this year, then this turned up, relatively cheaply and from the 2020 list I did in Dec 19... And it’s a twofer!!
Watchmaker is closing shop so this is what happened with the Omega stuff I'm not in need of everything such as boxes and buckles so if someone else is in need of anything to complete a set or something, just send a pm or so have a great day
