Happy to say that after literally months of looking, I finally managed to grab one of these beauties. The strap actually fits me, but going to stick it onto a NATO or leather.
Different and intended for one of my girls, if not to her taste I suspect I could be quite happy with it
Thanks. There’s definitely good deals to be had on them if you’re patient. Picked this one up on the Bay, bought earlier this year.
Hello, I recently purchased this Vulcain Cricket which appears to be in great shape but I have no idea how old it is. I made the mistake of trying to unscrew the back only to find out it has a snapback and didn't want to risk damaging it while attempting to open it. My question is, does anyone have any idea how I can age the watch without taking the back off? It's currently on it's way to my watchmaker across the country so hopefully, soon it'll be as good as new and on my wrist!
Impulse buy today, but my little guy has wanted a watch for a long time. Space Snoopy pairs well w my Speedy
Hey me too! So far I am impressed with the obvious quality. The glossy ceramic bezel and movement finishing make it feel every inch a serious Sub competitor, but at a much more modest price point. You may find that on a NATO it gets pretty tall. These are already pretty thick and a NATO makes it worse, I did a write up last year on the Spectre vs the '57 LE SM300 and the verdict was that the NATO was not the way forward with the SM300 MC case. These pics are poor but act as proof of life!:
I forgot all about this. He eventually responded and said he had assembled the watch himself. He offered to accept it as a return so I sent it back to him.
A watch I badly poo pooed in the past. And I didn't remember until I stumbled onto one of my own posts! Stay tuned...
First GMT for me. Most of my collection much older manual-winds (and a Roadster and a Tank Louis). Cartier not much watch-cred nowadays but they are superbly constructed and wear nicely.
