Recent arrival; freshly back from the shop (clean and new crystal). Serial number dates it to circa 1974 (I was in high school at the time.....). Came with a crappy/worn out BOR knockoff bracelet and the blue band was the only spare I had in 19mm. Will probably put on a BOR type bracelet, but this works for now. Plan this for a knock-about weekend general purpose beater
It looks good in blue

When I picked up my Aqua Terra on Monday, I saw this beauty sitting in a case and it kept calling my name...

I had to go back in bring it home with me. Time to figure out which piece needs to go to make room 馃

Hopefully arriving early December,

Cool watch, like the vintage diver vibe.

Lovely Seiko - however, the serial dates it to 1964, not 1974 馃榾

That type of case back as well as the use of the term "Water Proof" means that it is pre-1970/1971.

1980鈥檚 Casio F-15. Sharp condition. Perfect for the toboggan slopes this winter, the tennis courts next summer (even if only in the cheering sections)...

Why double Swiss?

Double Swiss because of the second "Swiss" print below the 120 on the tachimeter scale.
This is only visible when the dial is taken out.

thanks for looking into this; yes, some additional sleuthing based on serial number and "water proof" (with space) dates it to April 1964. the 1974 date was provided in the paperwork from the repairs......

My sons first watch... I like the Polerouter-esque twisted lugs, genta ring and crown 馃槈
