When I picked up my Aqua Terra on Monday, I saw this beauty sitting in a case and it kept calling my name...

I had to go back in bring it home with me. Time to figure out which piece needs to go to make room

Lovely Seiko - however, the serial dates it to 1964, not 1974

That type of case back as well as the use of the term "Water Proof" means that it is pre-1970/1971.

thanks for looking into this; yes, some additional sleuthing based on serial number and "water proof" (with space) dates it to April 1964. the 1974 date was provided in the paperwork from the repairs......
