I honestly can't say why I bought this 3511.60. It was like the Siren's song and I didn't have a mast to tie myself to. It's either going to be uglier than a mud fence or stunning.
Arrived today.

Another cheap eBay fashion watch for my daughter. She may have a larger collection than I do soon.

Are you sure you want to part with that one. I know your daughter will like it, but it looks pretty good on your wrist. 馃槈 馃榿

If I ever need a 22mm bracelet I might take it back.

Nothing too crazy, but this is my first G shock. At $90 this is a lot of watch with solar and radio sync to atomic time. Feels incredibly comfy on the wrist too.

Found this little thing languishing at a flee market stall, had to save it 馃榾

Roughly $3 馃榿

Looks very honest, what a great find for the price.

By the way, I think "flee market" is a great eggcorn.

Getting my first Omega tomorrow, a Snoopy (latest one). Was torn between it and a Rolex Sub (Smurf).

I am new-ish to the watch scene. I have a Seiko Arctura and last year got 3 Seiko Presage, which I love, also a Wyler Code R and Louis Moinet Jules Verne Instrument III. That and the Omega are my big purchases, so my purse strings have now been cut for the foreseeable future.

My mum has let me hold my old grandfathers Omega from the late 1940's, so when I get a chance, would love some help identifying the model etc. I don't think it's going to be some rare version or anything, but would be nice to know more about it.

A buckley dial DJ. These are pretty uncommon especially in the lemon dial variant so quite pleased to land one in this condition. Really like how the black Roman numerals match the handset.

That is stunning!

That's really gorgeous. I really like these two-tone DJs, especially with Roman numerals. Used to have its distant cousin (the Tudor version, albeit without black hands) and every time I see something even remotely similar I get painful pangs of seller's remorse... 馃檨

That is a beauty, I can see why it was painful to let it go. I've taken a liking to two-tone watches as of late - somehow, they are more versatile than I had originally expected.

In the process of consolidating watches and just picked up this bad boy. Really happy with the purchase. Gone but not forgotten: TT bluesy, Aqua Terra, Explorer. Also just purchased my Speedy, so will be (mostly) a two watch rotation for a while....
