Are you sure you want to part with that one. I know your daughter will like it, but it looks pretty good on your wrist. ;) :D

If I ever need a 22mm bracelet I might take it back.

Nothing too crazy, but this is my first G shock. At $90 this is a lot of watch with solar and radio sync to atomic time. Feels incredibly comfy on the wrist too.

Looks very honest, what a great find for the price.

By the way, I think "flee market" is a great eggcorn.

Getting my first Omega tomorrow, a Snoopy (latest one). Was torn between it and a Rolex Sub (Smurf).

I am new-ish to the watch scene. I have a Seiko Arctura and last year got 3 Seiko Presage, which I love, also a Wyler Code R and Louis Moinet Jules Verne Instrument III. That and the Omega are my big purchases, so my purse strings have now been cut for the foreseeable future.

My mum has let me hold my old grandfathers Omega from the late 1940's, so when I get a chance, would love some help identifying the model etc. I don't think it's going to be some rare version or anything, but would be nice to know more about it.

That's really gorgeous. I really like these two-tone DJs, especially with Roman numerals. Used to have its distant cousin (the Tudor version, albeit without black hands) and every time I see something even remotely similar I get painful pangs of seller's remorse... :(

    This was the one:

That is a beauty, I can see why it was painful to let it go. I've taken a liking to two-tone watches as of late - somehow, they are more versatile than I had originally expected.

an ocean 500 from IWC porsche design in black titanium with the first series bracelet, a work of engineering in itself,

In the process of consolidating watches and just picked up this bad boy. Really happy with the purchase. Gone but not forgotten: TT bluesy, Aqua Terra, Explorer. Also just purchased my Speedy, so will be (mostly) a two watch rotation for a while....
