When your watchmaker calls you and says he has something ready to collect ....
Circa 1954 Smith's DeLuxe in 9ct gold (with box):
C. 1943 Kreigsmarine Alpine (need to get that hand colourmatched):
C.1934 Cyma (sold already):
c.1951 Smith's pre-DeLuxe, horned lugs and a dial I've never seen before on this watch ... this one's staying with me:
And, lastly, a 1973 Seamaster Cosmic ... all original, quite rare and (to my mind) under-appreciated. Also already gone:
Just ordered this on Kickstarter. Yema Superman in brass. Ordered the 39mm and the 41mm to be delivered in Oct 2019. Limited Edition (Omega style) of 1948 for each size. Was able to pick the numbers, one for my oldest sons bday, and the other 314 for the youngest, as he is all about math (and his bday was claimed already).
That looks nice have you ordered KS projects before I have looked at them never pulled the gun
I know many people believe everything made in China is of poor quality, but that has not been my experience in recent years. Some of you may be familiar with these watches with the brand name Debert. I saw one a couple of days ago, and for 60 usd, free shipping, and 10 percent eBay bucks, I figured I'd buy one to see exactly what they are about. It will likely be a gift for a nephew. They appear to be fairly well made of all SS. The movement is a very plain autowinder. Does anyone here have any first hand experience with these? Maybe I'll do a quick review if it turns out to be a decent watch. I just noticed it's a quad date. Day, date, month, year. And moon phase and chrono. How the hell can they get all that in a mechanical mvmnt?
