Bulova Oceanographer, as soon as I saw it in the catalogue I said to my watchmaker something to the effect that if there were one in his showcase I'd likely have to take it home.

So the dirty bugger got one in! That's just not playing fair! At least he gave me a really good price on it.

so now I have twin "Devil Divers"!

Just arrived from the 'Bay and $4 over the $500 threshold; a 14700 Seamaster apparently unpolished, original dial with what I think are onyx inserts. Been wanting a nice sterile dial 500 series watch.

Thank you Dan !…Acquiring a 46mm Navitimer World GMT, last year…has spun me off into an interest, in Breitling

Interesting to see the retailer was GUS…’Great Universal Stores’…the pre eminent Mail Order Catalogue, of the time …that offered ‘weekly payments’ on purchases

For a 53 yr old watch, it’s in incredible condition…time keeping is perfect, but winding is a little stiff…so already booked for a service
