Here's something really funky from the late '60's: a Longines 2803 (cal.370). The design reminds me of the brutalist architecture that was in vogue in that era. Gilded brutalist? a bit of an oxymoron, no?...

 

Just saw my first one yesterday....funky indeed. You have, perhaps, instilled in me the courage to pull the trigger and buy it. Cheers

I've gone back to look for it and now can't find it....perhaps yours, is the one I saw the other day. I did find this, however.....talk about frustrating! The center of the dial is not included in the sale. Moral of the story....if you like it, buy it when you see it...it might not be there later.

 

...a very small (33 mm) but bigger looking (20mm lug width) earlier Minerva chronograph. Maybe 30ties?
Valjoux 23 inside, Minerva finish: chamfered, polished and sanded levers, côtes de Genève (not visible on my pics) and this nice
and really large balance.

A simple but juicy Geneve.

 

Got this Le Saleve chronograph a few days ago. It should be a fine daily wearer once i get my hand on a leather strap.

 

You must match it with a proper leather strap!

 

So the second of the two Deep Sea 666 arrived todayType B / black gloss/ coke bezel and Red Chrono/ V7733. It’s just amazing.

 

Very appealing chronograph. Is it on a NATO because it has fixed lugs?

Thanks ! It's on pushpins but it came with a nato and i have no spare strap. It will be changed as soon as i receive my new straps.
