I'm guessing these are insanely accurate. Whats the original specification for accuracy of this sort of watch?
Just bought myself a Rolex submariner 114060 I had been on the waiting list for 6 months and was about to give up waiting and buy a speedmaster instead but got a call from my AD to say it had arrived before I pulled the trigger on the speedy View attachment 638044
Don't really know anything about this one, bit of a plain jane front "Primat 675" on the front & Besancon France, with an Angel Fish Logo on the back. Based on the small 31mm case size, perhaps from the 50's (looks OK on my skinny wrist) case looks to be chrome plated overall in great condition & I love the black/blue (depending on the light) face. Case is described as Monocoque, so haven't the wherewithal to open it to have a look at the movement, anyone got any ideas on this - web searches return nothing at all!
nice, beware though speedies are like Pringles, once you pop you cant stop, congrats on the purchase.
Bought a G Shock to be a daily wearer. It was my second choice. The other I considered was nicer looking and well worth the higher price based on looks but I couldn’t read it well without my glasses even though the hands were longer (but skinnier). Guess the contrast on this one made the difference.
Just got myself a BoR to go with a 564 Seamaster I'm rebuilding... After buying it I have some doubts about its complete originality, I will see when it arrives.
Just got this Eterna 37mm ex crown. Probably cal 852 but not sure yet... Anyone that have an idea of value?
Two small Wyler’s from March 1933 incl the original box and bill. Not really valuable but I like them Does anybody know where the tapered cardboard part is used for ?
Just a guess, but I would say as a stand or prop to display the watch. Much like the prop or stand on the back of a picture frame. McK
