I took this in part-trade a while back; quite a cool watch and the F1 tyres make an interesting 'box' ! I've just got it back from service so it's now tip-top!...

That bezel makes a chronostop finally work and be truly useful.

Been thinking about getting a Tudor BBB 79220N for a while - I like the Rose details, “smile” and ETA movement. Over here however they are about £1k more than the other models, so difficult to justify (£2k ish vs £3k ish).... then, whilst browsing at eBay whilst waiting for a train, a full B&P set turned up for £1800 BIN..

I was only going to buy two! (And I've already sold five others bought today).

So. There's three unworn and running "fashion" watches, including a Swatch. I had to buy these because I need a replacement Seiko 5 movement and this was in there with them. The case is OK, the dial's pretty poor, but the movement is just fine and running strong. This will be a donor for one that's been on the bench for a few weeks.

Another that will donate it's parts is this Waltham that was probably a fob watch originally:

But then we get to the good stuff. In a bag with a Rotary and a few bits was a lovely Smiths Pre-De Luxe. The second I've had in the last couple of years and one that won't hang around. Great case, good dial and strong movement. The hands may be correct, not 100% convinced, though. I love the lugs on these cases.

IIn and already "sold" , subject to servicing and a couple of new straps are these:

But then, there's the piece de resistance ... this is going to hang around for a while ...

I think today has been a good day.

Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself by posting this before it arrives, but I've been wanting one of these for a while and it's the best example I've seen. Of course, I'll probably be mocked for wearing a dive watch when I'm not scuba diving. 🙄

Edit: Just picked up a vintage blue Tropic Sport for it!
