These black waffle constellations have proved super hard to track down for me. Especially with a decent dial - so many redials. This one just came in the mail.
These Clebar are quite nice, and still somewhat under the radar. @watchdaddy1 also has a knack of turning them up.
I've never had one of these before... and I've been thinking all the way home that I overpaid for it. Taken these few photos, I've decided that no, I haven't. I'm really quite happy with everything about this ...
Indeed. In fact, it was his collection of Clebars that finally pushed me over the edge to look for one.
insomnia + long week at work + ebay = a cheapish, but frozen 166.010 : seller says honestly it doesn't work; something may be wrong in the date mechanism?. I wanted a seamaster chronometer for some years, somehow I never found the right one at the right price. I hope this will turn OK in the end, I should have it in a week. (and now I will have to find a signed buckle or a BoR to go with it...)
Well I’m not the greatest fan of quartz watches but couldn’t resist this one . Not because of its price , less than £750 , not because it’s an Omega Seamaster, not because it’s been serviced in the last 6 months nor it’s box and papers or it’s great 835 braclet but because it’s one of the original JB SM’s, fab blue dial, great lume, hands , thin and a bit of cinema and watch history!
