Two recent arrivals from the last week. A Seamaster ref. 166.032 sparkle dial and a Nivada Antarctic Chronometre.
Enjoying my newly acquired Oris Bronze Carl Brashear Chronograph. Love the case back raised engravings. “ Its not a sin to get knocked down. It’s a sin to stay down”
First incoming in a while... Omega “Thin Arrow” ‘53, with the original radium dial. soon to be united with its siblings, the “Thin Arrow Bienne” and “Fat Arrow”
Decided to focus part of my collection on pulsations chronographs - adding this pulsations Nina to my pulsations Ed White and pulsations 2447 Carrera. Now ... which pulsations to add next
BTW, in my ignorance, i would really appreciate if someone can tell me which model is my Omega with Turler dial. Since i'm going to sell it, some more info would help Thanks in advance!
1944, $11, bought it because I liked the blue second hand =] Another ladies watch my wife will never want to wear.
Bought this watch from @JimJupiter and the custom strap from @Fost. Both received some time ago but can finally wear together and in confidence after a proper service. I’m as excited for this one as for the ST2!
I bought 4 watches last week so my mailbox really has been quite exciting. This is an Auguste Reymond S.A. with a Unitas manual wind movement from I am guessing the 50s. Dial and case are not perfect but it was a bargain on the bay and I liked the size at 36mm and the 2-4-8-10-12 markers and the dial.
aPurchased from USA, arrived in Australia today. Went around the planet at least 1.5 times, but tracking says it is still in Greece.
An S-series 16710, unpolished and in mint (or almost) condition Just couldn’t help myself. Not the original bracelet but like the 93150 better so it does not matter to me. But that means my other beater GMT will be on the block soon
It's been such a busy day that I've not even photographed any of today's buys. As I'm cleaning and sealing leather bindings I thought to myself that I've not even looked at my favourite thing. So, simply, here's a brace of 1940's Jaegers. I wish you could here the clock play (it's a musical alarm) ... I haven't opened the Jaeger, so can't tell you more than it's a bumper ... and that's a 1930s Aspley deskset in the background. Stoked! (Oh, there's a 30T2 in my pocket).
