My newest arrival.... actually bought in March during the Kickstarter but finally picked it up yesterday. The Heitis Okeanos Explorer. The brand is founded by a local guy who is a truly genuine and fun loving dude. I could not pass up an opportunity to own a watch from a local brand here in Buffalo. Thoroughly enjoying it so far

...well this is awkward... none of my photos are loading

Found it today in an open air antiques sale : not cheap, barely running (probably gummed up) but in nice shape. Probably early 50s? It has a p800/c inside, the case is all steel.

It does look strange with a driver strap full of holes 😒

I always loved the idea of measuring temperature with wrist watch. Just unboxed this lovely NOS lip.
That’s is supremely cool. Love it.

Got this 1675 this morning

That’s incredible! The root beer has a special place in my heart and is high on my grail list.

I had a moratorium on purchases, until this popped up. So unique that I had to have it and with the original, full-length bracelet. Photos are from the listing.

Couple of Swatch automatics (cal. 2842)..... All from the mid ‘90.

And two solar powered quartz (S)watches. The solar powered ones where a surprise to me, because they where also sold to me as automatics (same purchase).

My oldest (5y) is promised a watch when he can tell time. I would like to give him the solar powered when he passes his exam.😉

First day with my new-to-me 145.022-76ST. A birth year watch (or at least birth year model). Arrived very dirty, but after wrestling off the bracelet and cleaning off the wrist cheese it looks awfully nice. The Speedmaster is even prettier in person!

Great idea for fending off my 5 year old when he begs to wear my most expensive watches 😎

This came in the mail today, a Super Kontiki 1973 Heritage. I bought it off of the bay and probably spent more than i should have ($1000).

Arrived yesterday. Reasonably sharp 35mm ss case with triple faceted lugs, a silvery dial that changes hue in the light, black roman numerals and steel blued hands. The sub-seconds hand is a replacement though.

Straying (diving?) from my usual world of vintage UG into French dive watches with this really fun and sharp Lip Nautic Automatic Calendrier from 1968. EPSA Super-compressor case, R153 automatic movement, 36mm. Love the lollipop seconds hand, too! Don’t see much love for Lip on these Forums...any fans?

Exactly! 👍
Be aware; I planned to buy one watch and ended up with six 😀
