This just arrived from Colorado, and I grabbed some iPhone shots. I love the orange lollipop!

Definitely needs a service, as it has gained 5 minutes already in 3 hours!

Seller calls it a 60's chrono with a Valjoux 7733 inside.

Very nice! Mine say hello....

Picking up some tools to get some enthusiasm for hobby watch repairing:

A Miyutoyo micrometer:

A Seiko case holder:

A rather odd Rocket-SUC case vice, which I thought was great...

...however it doesn't beat the LG case wrench and an improvised case vice set-up (both also recently arrived.)

And this workmat was a freebie from my loving dad 馃榾

New arrival. Spent quite a bit of effort sourcing this rare variant of the Heuer Carrera reissue CS3112 on a befitting new leather strap from the very skillful @adithpr . Struggled to properly capture the multi-faceted salmon sunburst dial on this one.

Couldn't help it. This one stuck in my head since my gmt thread. Had to find one. Luckily, Chase (founder) was able to help. 馃榿

The band is too narrow but it's what I had close. Ordered a leather strap. Odd watch in that it's a Titan, from Turkey. Yet it has nuclear boomer sub in the paperwork. Turkey didn't doesnt have any. Also what looks like the USN submarine fleet logo. Mityoyo 8215 movement. Not sure if Titan used Japanese movements.
One odd duck for sure.

::sigh::

I may have a problem. Some you will have seen (even advertised here) some you won't. Loving the Longines; and the Omega; and the Waltham; and ... oh, see that little Genex?

And a few details ...

new "wash the car, cut the grass, exercise" alternative to my well used G-Shock. For many years I used a $35 Timex triathlon for such endeavors.

Well after a weekend in the heat Saturday was the wonderful Goodwood festival of speed where I considered very carefully a stunning Daytona 'esk Montblanc chrono but I just couldn't bring myself to part with the asking 拢4500....
Not sure why because it was stunning but that's a lot of money for a Montblanc.
Sunday at the air tattoo...I stumbled into Breitling and stumbled out with this, along with a clasp and a bracelet ....48mm and I fell in love. It has a bronze dial and stratos grey bezel. Red markers pop in the sun.
A couple of nice extras too

I got bit by the Marinemaster bug just in time for the SLA019J1 "Yakushima" Limited Edition of 1968 to be available! After checking out RJB's great write up on Fratello Watches (article: https://www.fratellowatches.com/seiko-sla019j1-marinemaster/); all of the goodness of the SBDX017 + a sapphire crystal + beautiful forest green - ceramic bezel - with amazingly applied details and lume - I took the plunge and couldn't be happier!

I will be getting the bracelet sized in the next week or so, and in the meantime will be enjoying it on the accompanying rubber strap. A few pics for now, a complete review to follow once I've had a chance to wear it on the bracelet for a few days.

Upon Arrival:

Day-lume game on point:

"Yakushima" green in daylight in front of my Japanese Black Pine bonsai "in training"...amazing greens! The gray NATO was super comfortable, but not nearly as well-fit & secure as the rubber strap:

Lume-in-ceramic through 20 minutes - there is nothing else in my collection like this...

On the rubber strap for the next few days - then on to the bracelet and a complete review!

Thank you 惟F!!!
