$50, EBAY from Turkey. I had very low expectations. Looks and runs great to me so far.i can smell the brown patina on the dial: over 50 years of Turkish Tobacco smoke.
This 19 Jewels Automatic Seiko for resell. Not in very good shape though So many scratches from the back of the case and the day indicator is tilting a bit.
a nice circa 1888 Waltham model 83 movement in a jewelers display case. Frosted finishing on the movement and it runs well! it just so happens I have a nice solid silver case which I found with my initials already engraved on it in need of just such a movement.... its all off to the watchmakers for a fitting now!
I sent an Elgin 6s 15j movement & dial to Vortic last year to have an Heirloom watch made to match this 14k Hunter thats been in the Family since new. They just emailed and said it won't be started 'til next year...IMHO...if they got my $$$ & accepted the commission it shouldn't take 18+ months, My mistake lesson learned..buyer beware. Bob
^ LOVE it. I'm in line from a family friend for a Waltham worn for the duration WW2. Fingers crossed.
I got this Hanhart and a couple of canvas straps that I want to try with it. It’s a simple tool watch, and I think it will look even better with some wear and tear.
Need more pictures in order to help. Case diameter, wo crown, could help. Ref number is engraved inside the case back. Looks nice!
