Waited a week for this to crawl through customs, only to find once again that famous TAG quality shining through. After the cheaper-than-Seiko movement quality of the Skipper last year and now this, I think it’s safe to say this will be my last TAG. Fool me twice and all. I guess I just need to sit down with a good Scotch and accept that Heuer is dead and never coming back.
Finally bought a really, really nice 1601 with alpha hands and original jubilee. I've been looking for one for awhile.
The Last Rose. I became enticed with this piece last year and finally pulled the trigger and very happy I did so. But I suppose I’ll need an original Ranger some day to make the perfect pair. And I got a bracelet too, just need to size it. However this Nato is truly incredible
Black and gold with that textured dial is so hard to beat! Been trying to find a nice one myself for a while now, great find!
This little guy arrived yesterday from down under. Ticking away and case seems to be in decent shape. The dial has some very tiny bubbling if I look closely but looks great from normal distances. Any Lemaniacs have any information regarding reference?
I just bought a 1969 seamster ref. 168.024! It is on the way from Japan. I am currently trying to find a good watch maker that wont charge me too much. My budget will be 250 usd tops for service. So far i found 3 watch makers. But im still shopping around till it gets here. Here is one of the seller pictures.
That's something you don't see very often! A slightly offbeat combination of one of the worst cases by Omega (huuuugely personal opinion!) with my absolute favourite Omega movement, the 551. Thank you for posting, made me go look up the reference
1920's Elgin Rose gold case, blued hands, sunk porcelain dial with red "12", killer crown. Just serviced it myself: new glass crystal, new mainspring, cleaned and adjusted to 6 positions, killer strap. I attached a pair of pictures from the eBay auction. This fellah just needed a bit of love and with TLC could last another 100 years.
