Purchased my PO 8500 last week. Exceptionally accurate. It gained about two seconds in ten days. Couldn’t be happier.
As mentioned in an article by @mondodec from the golden years of watch buying/accessories. 19mm, may be going on a 40’s dress watch, maybe not. Like the bricks style as a change to the BOR once in a while.
That resembles the bracelet of my Slava watch. Not an expanding band though. A very comfortable bracelet, had to de burr it a bit of course.
This arrived from ebay today! I really like vintage watches that are well worn. This one didn’t have the chronograph runner but I quickly found it on eBay. My friend pointed out how is the minute counter hand staying on!?
Couldn't resist that retro dial with sub second hand. Stated to be working and "showing correct time". Also dirt cheap at less than $19 USD total shipped from the Ukraine. An old ex-commie divesting himself of his past I guess. A "POBEDA" I think these were made by Raketa in the Old Soviet. Only visible issue is the hand of the sub dial may be dragging at each end.
My first Rolex - 1603 Wide Boy dial and markers. I think I'm in Planning to put this on the jubilee shortly.
Bought some days ago, ready to wear since yesterday: Big watch because of the big Beta 21 based Cal. 1301.
I'm always up for a laugh , so bought this lot at a bricks-n-mortar auction yesterday. I wasn't there though, so only had a few photos to go on. 166.077 is the Ploprof so could be some goodies other than the partial bracelet, and I now have a lifetimes supply of 14mm tropics (although the real hope here is that the other bundles are larger sizes).
