Gorgeous! 馃グ I love Stowa. There's one on the sales forum right now that is in the exact configuration I never knew I wanted until I saw it... currently struggling to resist it.

Dangit! Nice one Ed. I have had my eye out for one of those ever since seeing Adam's long ago.

T'was mine. Ed has pried it out of my clutches, finally.

Bit of a rough day but some light shone through the clouds when the UPS guy showed up. Just put a new strap on:

1967 Rolex 1002. The dial is so clean if it weren't for the lume coloring I'd think it was a service dial. Runs like a dream. Now I have the perfect pair. Next to my '62:

This arrived yesterday....

It was an impulse buy. I broke one of my rules and bid without seeing the movement first. What can I say? I like mirror indexes. 馃榾 Turns out it was a 30 SC T1!! According to AJTT, only 2400 pieces were made! Needless to say, I'm thrilled to have found this! To be honest, I hadn't heard of this caliber until yesterday. Goes to show there's always more to learn and sometimes it's better to be lucky than good!

Regards,

Brandon

@ConElPueblo I guess Post Danmark more or less knows your name by now. Not suggesting any step in the process has become more efficient or streamlined 馃槈 just...maybe they know your name.

Finally added this beauty to the collection!

Looking towards adding the Racing bracelet (or maybe the 1125 馃槈), will follow up with pics once I do!

Cheers!

@heavenscloud Love the unusual finishing in the movement. What is the case diameter? Cool piece.

Appears to be 35mm without crown. It's an interesting watch. I haven't seen this particular dial configuration. I thought mirror indexes were used much later (late 40s), but I'm guessing the 9.2 movement serial puts it at 1940-41....

Way to go!

Thanks! I couldn't believe it. What dumb luck! 馃槣 ::psy::

Left a couple of absentee bids in yesterday's Fellows auction - totally expecting to miss all of them, but nabbed this grey dialed 168.029 Constellation 751.

Should be in hand by the end of the week.
