Just scored a MKII at a sweet price. Unfortunately I'm going to be out of the country on business for the next few weeks. Oh well, gives me some time to track down a 1162-173.

Picked up a couple straps at Sears today. A lot of sears locations are closing across the US and the nicer leather Speidel bands were $5.

@Mad Dog who do you use as your local watchmaker?

Purchased today from my local watchmaker...a railroad grade Elgin B.W. Raymond 571 (c. 1952). It's my first Elgin as well as my first Montgomery dial...so I'm pretty psyched...good times! 馃憤

Bought yesterday on an impulse at auction. I always loved Sewills' history but never got around to owning one of their watches. It's a later, poorer, quartz model but ... it was no money either.

The coins were another auction lot and they're going to take a while to sort through but, damn, they might buy another piece for the collection ... there are three coins that I've dug out of that lot that are each worth over 拢100 and many more in the 拢20-50 range. The whole lot was 拢40 at the hammer.

Its a AS schield caliber same as Aquastar benthos, belive its produced late 70s and its actualy a try from Lemania to produce a proffesional divingwatch.
Belive it came in a Quartz to.

Scratching my Polerouter itch with this lovely (when I get a new crystal) Tissot.

And now back from a service. Unfortunately the (original) crown was super brittle and they did not feel comfortable putting it back in. But at least it's still a Tissot crown. 馃榿 This dial is so lovely馃グ

Today I checked this one off my fairly short must-have list. Should arrive in a couple of days!
