Just in, on the left, an Omega Constellation f300 hummer. In juxtaposition with the Nomos I was already wearing today.

Thanks! It's coming along nicely, I think. I'll have to put up a family photo soon

Got a brand new "Batman" today. Feeling quite lucky as it took only 1 week to finally get it.

Cheers

Picked this one up about a month ago for my father, who was looking for an alternate to his daily wearer. After a month on the wrist, he concluded that it was too difficult to read (his eyesight isn't what it used to be) and so he gave it back. I might hold onto it or give it to a nephew.

Another micro Longines. I'm enjoying the sweet prices on those very tiny ones. 23mm. I liked the shape of the case and the leaf hands. Sellers pics.

I bought this recently and arrived yesterday. Needs a little polish and some more work on the engraving, but will be the bees-knees for the FOIS.

Making a custom caseback?

I'm afraid my skills don't extend to this kind of work. Of course I wish they did. 馃檮 No, I got it from a mate who, back in 2004, undertook to create a Speedy to commemorate Schirra's Sigma 7 Mercury flight. Part of the project was a special case back. He had two made but circumstances prevented completion of the project. Both are engraved "THE FIRST - SPEEDMASTER - WORN IN SPACE - SCHIRRA - MERCURY ATLAS 8 - OCT 3 1962".

ps. I'll edit the post so it's not ambiguous.
