Been eyeing this for a while. VC for me holds a special place as my Speedmaster has a similar movement (Piguer 1285) with VC's Overseas Chronograph (Piguet 1185, until 2015 when they started using their in-house movement).

VC for me holds a special place

I think once you see what powers a VC it almost doesn't matter what the watch itself looks like ... I know every time I wear mine, it makes me smile because I know what the innards of that little machine is doing and just how damn gorgeous it is. Twice I've thought about selling it, then I put it on my wrist and realise I can't.

Took a chance with this one, bad seller pics.

Really really excited to find it's all good, and with the rater uncommon full lumes hands on a black dial with SS case. Definitely a keeper for me.

Nice one! Beautiful with those full lumed hands and in great condition. Is it a bumper or a microtor movement?

Thanks, it's a bumper movement. Seems all the full lumed hands examples I have seen are with the bumper movements as well.

Something came today.

At least I can tell "Her" that it doesn't cost as much as Chanel No5.

(I mean Chanel No5 Parfum, 30ml. I hope she thinks I mean Chanel No5 Eau Premiere Spray 35ml.) 😁

But I think I'll be up for No5 Parfum when she finds out 🙁.

On the left, the pick up of the day! I got it for my gf since I got a very good deal and the watch is perfect. I think I'm going to steal it from time to time (the crown is a pain to operate though!)

As far as I'm concerned, a great looking watch is a great looking watch, regardless of who's name hangs on the dial! And that is a great looking watch!

It's in ... I've cleaned the accumulated gunk from the bracelet, clasp, caseback and lugs .... given it a rub with the last three drops of polywatch in the tube .... resized the bracelet .... and here she is:
