Took a chance on this 1 for pennies on the dollar.Sellers pics were horrible. After a good clean up she's a beaut.albeit old & tired .3rd Clebar added to my growing Vintage Collection.
I'm contemplating doing a cardinal sin of this 1 by having it re-plated..All the plating on this 1 is gone.

Forgive me barging in but my $0.02 says just to leave it alone. I bet re-plating it would look lumpy. Besides that damage is so far gone it's now in the land of case patina.

I particularly like 1940s watches, and I just picked up this 1944 Beauty, 18K with a salmon/tan colored dial. It is powered by one of the early 28.10 RA Bumper movements. It has been on my wrist since it arrived yesterday, and I just don't want to take it off!
