I just pulled the trigger on this X-33. It comes with an unused bracelet as well. It's obviously a personal sale, and I have to wait a few days for it to arrive, but man am I excited:

True to USPS standards, it took 47 hours to go approximately 40 miles from Deerfield Beach, FL to Opa Locka, FL. The last update (yesterday) said it left Opa Locka. Due to be delivered to the coast of Maine tomorrow. I have my doubts. Unfortunately, I'm headed for DC for 8 days beginning Saturday.

I must be paying for something.....

Snagged from a German ebay listing on New Year's Day.

Loving the sparkle dial - movement needs a service and there's a little bit of case tidying to be done.

Congrats 馃憤

I followed that particular auction with interest, as I have just bought one similar myself. Yours looks to be in stunning condition - that case looks perfect! 馃槑

It's not as perfect as it looks... and will be having a little light refinish work at STS.

Someone has gone over parts of the sunburst and the sides with a nail file from the look of it...

It still looks in good condition though! Really enjoy these sparkle dials.

It finally happened. And to think I was posting all this time without ever owning a speedy. To heck with my tiny wrists, I'm keeping this one. Happy new year to me (and to all!)

I want a black dial caliber 355 Seamaster but in the meantime I'm going to enjoy this one. My first bumper auto and my first waffle dial.

A very pretty watch in the hand!

Congrats! I am still to find a bumper with date and any watch with a waffle dial. One day...

You'll love that bumper feel 馃憤

Quite surprised to see this, completely missed it in the listing. No doubt STS will make it perfect again!

The postman just dropped this off to me ...

... and it'll be with my local watch guy within the hour. There are a few case marks I hadn't seen in the sales photos but we'll see how bad they look after a clean.

From the seller, this is what resides inside:

Postal service pleasantly, no, very happily surprised me today. I thought I was going to have to wait another week to lay my hands on this:

Not a whole watch but an important part for 69-78 Speedy's. Not easy come by in good condition. Although there are a few hoarders around here likely have a stack of these.

Here you go. Looks like it could use a little cleaning:

Thanks to @Faz, this extremely rare bird has been added to my watch box. Can't wait to love this one for years to come (since my hope of finding a 2915 is defffffinitely never coming true).

Spent the last three months trying and failing to find something I liked as much as an Aqua Terra.

I'm not going to fight it anymore. Black dial this time:

A couple of vintage pieces.
Both relatively large with the Lemania at 36 and the Alpina at 37mm. 馃榾
They should come out great with some gentle cleaning.
