Bought mainly due to the overall cool condition and the very special lug fixation to the case. Late 20s-early 30s. Longeau used to be a trademark of Enicar. Apart from that I am clueless. Please enlighten me if you may
I have to agree with Tony, it would seem to be a serial number...mine is 831XX. Nice acquisition Evan! These are great watches, love mine.
Hi @gatorcpa Nice watch , and @Tony C. also has a killer example and @Hijak ... Here is mine ... In 18 k yellow gold .... Good hunting Bill
A purchase that was months in the making, that I gave up on several times and that finally happened thanks to a some good Italian friends.
Got two new ones last week, a Organa Chronograph (no idea about the movement, but it was cheap, very good looking and serviced (!) : And a Seamaster Bumper Jumbo, ref. 2494 - nothing less than number three in my collection! (it's the one to the left) ...Gold-capped, naturally
Ordered some straps from Stewart and they arrived this weekend. Well worth the wait (which he is very open and up front about - and which he delivered to). https://heuerville.wordpress.com/heuerville-straps/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The mailman came! One classic Omega and another... an early oversized Universal Geneve. I say oversized because this case type is generally associated with their large early chronograph pocket watches.
These arrived today - two watches from @Tony C. - an Eterna and Juvenia. Two simple but very classy three handers with cool dials and lugs! I also love the straps they came with, such a pleasant surprise!
A new Everest strap for my GMT. Couldn't wait until I got home to change straps so used a drawing pin in lieu of my strap changer.
A Jolus branded Landeron 48 in a 37.5mm 18k case. This is my first experience with this movement and I like it! The upper pusher only starts the chrono and the lower stops and resets it. Very smooth action on both. The dial is a little gnarly as you can see but the case is pretty nice...
You need to find another route to work, otherwise it could easily get expensive! Congratulations on the Speedmaster
