How did I miss this? Are you near a boutique? I've been jonesing to look at this on versus the DeepSea Vintage.
Nice one! I have the same Helbros watch, but it has a Venus movt inside (V150? V175? i forgot). Th3 38mm case wears nicely on the wrist. Congrats!
Seiko SNZG15 as an everyday watch when I'm not wearing my Speedmaster. New leather band and NATO strap already ordered.
Took almost a month to get here from Trieste, Italy, but been looking for a cheap Marvin Flying Dutchman for awhile. Not the most pristine example you'll ever see (like @Hijak's) but it was cheap and will clean up nicely. I've been told that this is an in-house Marvin movement. Whatever it is, it looks to be very high quality. Happy Saturday everyone! gatorcpa
Nice, @gatorcpa! I've owned a few of these, and like them. They came in a variety of styles, including both manual and auto-wind. The autos with date, like yours, contain cal. 580C (noted above the point of the rotor). The non-date were 580.
@Tony C., @Hijak - Question for you...the watch has no serial number on the movement and a 5-digit number engraved between the lugs at 6, Rolex style. Any idea if this is a case serial or reference number? Thanks, gatorcpa
I was GMTless for too long. Had to sell my 16750 a few years back to keep body and soul together. I think this one should do the trick! Sellers pic
