A new addition to my Constellation collective and a version that I had been hoping to find for a long time. This RG 2853 first crossed my path 6 months ago and it has taken me that long to wrestle it from the previous owner, whom I think only actually sold it to me to put an end to my relentless irritating persistence in the pursuing of this piece
It's beautiful!!!! Looks great on rose gold. I really like that model the only thing that beeps Me from buying one is the size. I find it wayyyy too small. Sent from my iPhone
This aviator (presumably RAF) 30T2 came today. I can't believe the condition. Can anyone help decipher the case back engravings for me? In particular H.S. I know what the broad arrow means, natch. Edit: H.S. stands for Hydrographic Survey, as a helpful enthusiast at mwrforum just informed me.
Just arrived at home, the confluence of two of my vintage watches interest (Eterna-Matic and chronometer)
Technically, I bought this almost a month ago, but after an extended layover in Chicago, this just arrived today. It's a little gem of a watch. I'm loving it. Thanks, @ConElPueblo
I have, since several years, a shortlist of watches that I would like to own. This was no4 on that list. Very pleased with it. Earlier I have rejected all specimen with diamonds on them. But on this one I felt that I could live with 2 stones placed in odd positions! Onyx dial, ref 18038, 6,0 mill serial. I got the bracelet too, but will wear it on leatherstrap
I just picked up this one!!! I really like it and I will order the brown calf strap from Omega, it looks awesome on that one.
This dial is quite beautiful. I've seen many many pictures of those, and a few "live" examples, have a 6B/159 (same type of watch, but air force ie "Air Ministry") which is considered in excellent condition as these go, but this creamy patina is just lovely. Congrats!
