Sadly, nothing. And I bought the same thing yesterday and day before and day before that. I am a high roller, what can I say.
Since the seller made a mistake in their listing he offered to refund on the watch. The seller listed the dial as original and not refinished.
I have been hunting for a Heuer Bundeswehr in good condition for almost half a year but now I have found it Here are some pictures of it: The original strap felt too clumsy so I replaced it with a vintage looking one I also got some Bundeswehr/Luftwaffe give-aways from the seller I have printed out the manual, here is the watch laying on the manual´s front-page
That one looks nice. The bluish gray dial and bezel look nice and vintage. I'm really digging Tudors lately, though I'm focusing on the Prince (Date) Day.
This one's not too hard to spot as refinished. When the fonts are closer to original sometimes it's a bit harder. A good learning experience.
Another interesting piece, tang is stamped "Victoria, Switzerland, Stainless" probably early 50's. All of the silver in the scales is inlaid, including the 'watch' While this model is very uncommon to rare, coincidentally there is another identical one on eBay at this moment. http://www.ebay.com/itm/282182581765?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
