Thought I would buy the misses something nice for our 8th anniversary

Did get a few dozen fresh oysters and some fresh off the prawn boat giant Aussie tiger prawns for dinner...

Well, it doesn't have an electrical cord or a handle, so you've dodged those two bullets at least.... 馃槣

Bought an 18K Rose Gold Excelsior Park EP4 today. Don麓t think I have seen too many of these around.
36mm case and fancy (albeit a tad polished?) lugs.
馃榾::psy:: A special "thank you" to a certain French lady for leading me into temptation (DIBS noted)!

Somehow I doubt you'd part with it too soon but I'm glad to know it's in good hands 馃槈

Judging by the Vulcain example... yes, about 300% more.

A new and humble arrival today .... a twin sister for my micro Longines six-notched screwback.
I was delighted to discover the central grey section of the dial shines like metal, a bit as if it were liquid lead.
Pictures don't begin to show the effect.... I'm getting used to those Longines dials being a different dimension when they show up.
The crystal has a crack, but for 35 euros I can't complain.

Better pics to follow in the Longines subforum.

Bought a wire splice last week for my truck. One of ULACKFOCUS'S little critters cost me $154.00. Bit the wire from my gas filler sensor and caused the check engine light to come on. Oh for the '66 Cuda I owned which you could actually fix by yourself.

Saw this recommended eBay listing on the Zenith board. Not my style but thought I'd throw a lowball BIN price and damn if I didn't win it.
