I just got this Cosmic a couple of days ago. Nice watch, but what I did not know is that these 60's Cosmic's are different sizes. This one is slightly smaller (2mm less in dia.) than the other one I have. So it will be a short stay for this one. This is the only example of a solid grey dial I have seen. I do love Omegas with a scientific/reticle dial.

nice piece. From what I know most cosmics are in the 35-36mm range the cosmic 2000 is 38mm.

Interesting! What's under the hood? ETA 7730? Are the bars actually screwed in?

Bars are screwed in.

Nice jogging button. When you take it to the range, be careful the slide doesn't bite your thumb. I have to adjust my grip slightly to avoid that.
The my thumb rides the slide on the left side so it's nice and clear. However i also
have the original none "s" ppk and it doesn't have a beaver tail. So the slide bites my hand.

This Tissot today, I'll be interested to get it in my hands and find out a little more, I may even have just the right strap waiting for it.

Today I bought the new Tudor Black Bay 36mm, which I sort of knew I was destined to buy since it was announced earlier in the year. It comes either with a thick tan leather strap or the bracelet. Both options, I believe, include the camouflage nylon strap.

While in the store (Atelier Swiss Fine Timing, on N. Michigan Ave.), and chatting with the Daniel, the manager, he let slip that there still was one (of the ten produced) of the special edition Laurent Ferrier sector dial watches that was specially made for Atelier...It was in the vault downstairs, as the customer who bought it hadn't yet picked it up. So with little fanfare he had it brought upstairs for me to see...Wonderful, wonderful watch (steel, micro-rotor automatic movement), very pricey (42K). At 41mm it was nearly the same size (and shape) as the PAM 338 which I came in wearing.

This. IMO gold IWC's are under rated these days

I agree. That's next on my list. Unless something else pops up first.

Bought an 18K Rose Gold Excelsior Park EP4 today. Don´t think I have seen too many of these around.
36mm case and fancy (albeit a tad polished?) lugs.
😀::psy:: A special "thank you" to a certain French lady for leading me into temptation (DIBS noted)!

Man, I love the look of the brass showing through the bezel plating.

And another Lemania.
They don't come as cheap as they used to....... But also very seldom in this condition. Rare date version with sub sec.

There isn't much love for the Mk40, but I think they are kind of funky

Estate sale good deal. Doesn't seem to be any battery leak. Set the time and it's running nicely - not a lot of info on this particular dial/look from what I could find. Any ideas? Stuck a strap on it ..
